Not-so-good news

this morning we went for our routine check up, which is once in two weeks. however, this time, i did not have to do blood test *so so relieved!* they only checked my weight, blood pressure, urine test and baby's heart rate. then, the nurse reviewed the result. everything seemed normal but then, she asked me how much did i put on weight since i registered. i said around 10 kg and she was quite surprised! not a good one tho.. she said the max. pregnant women could put on weight until birth is 12 kg and i have another 2 1/2 months to go!! she was worried about me and she said she will refer my case to the doctor.

in the evening, my mom-in-law called me but i was asleep. so, she called zazi instead. she told him that the doctor called and informed her about my case. the doctor asked me to come and see her this friday and perform a blood test... errkk! baru jek gembira hari ni takyah buat blood test :(

btw i could not eat starting friday 12am, friday 8am perform 1st blood test, after that, they will give me a glucose drink and friday 10am, perform 2nd blood test *creeps!*

the doctor concerns about the baby's health as he/she grows quite fast for the last few months and this might leads to complication during delivery, which is soon!! be strong my lil' one. i m praying hard for the both of us.

87 days to go

today is day 179 of my pregnancy. can you believe it?! hehe.. i'm NOT! badan dah rase semakin berat, cepat mengah & malas =) tak lama lagi tangan n kaki may have more swelling la kot.. aiyoo... i dah tak hot lagi neh!! hahaha.. duhh!!
btw, i start to cook again today after a few months off sebab tak tahan bau. dulu kalau masak, tutup hidung. pastu pas makan masakan sendiri, muntah balik.. awat baby, mummy masak tak sedap ka? awat daddy makan macam tak cukup pinggan ja? huahuahua!! peace daddy... love you!
these coming months, zazi & i dah plan to set up the nursery. of course with my sayangs help (nadia, harris, khalid & erin) kalau diorg tak busy :)

~ Wall Paint
we will consider pastel colors, which is definitely more baby friendly, like light yellow (^.^)

~ Room Lighting
maybe softer lighting so it is more comfortable to the eye.

~ Furniture and Fitting
haaa bab neh yang excited sangat neh.. bayangkan white color baby cot, cute & colorful bedding set and curtains, rug and white furniture. ahh!! sangat adorable! *syok sendiri*

so far tu jek plan yang ada. will post the picca once done k my dear ones! thee hee....

I'm so excited

i'm so excited and i just can't hide it,

kenape ku tersangat excited arini? sebab esok daddy nak balik dari sarawak and mummy akan jemput daddy kt klia! lama tau dia pegi, 2 minggu, kunun 10 hari jek.. baby mesti rindu nak dengar suare daddy kan? tu sebab baby tak aktif sangat masa daddy takde yek? hmm esok kite borak puas-puas ngan daddy k :)

haks... rase macam dah angau macam time becinte plak. hehe! yela tak penah kene tinggal kot! honey, pls don't leave me again! at least not these 3 months until i gave birth.

oh lupa nak story, this afternoon, i met one of my besties, tina. we had lunch at nando's. rase last jumpa time raya kot. lama tu! btw she is also a mum-to-be :)

so kitorg pun chit-chatting about our lives, babies and etc... then, we went to babies section, tengok stroller!! comelnye... sangat geram tengok barang-barang babies neh . siap dah pikir nak beli apa untuk present bile baby masing-masing dah pop out nanti! hahaha....! well, after all, it is nice to talk and do stuff with your girl sometimes, don't you think?

p/s : pandanglah lihatlah, stroller impian kami.. thee hee....

Shopping list... whheee!

ok, memandangkan dah masuk 7 bulan baby dlm pewut neh, we came up with a list, things to buy!!! ohh ohh so excited ku di sini!! hahaha *shopping jek trus sihat* everything about pregnancy, babies and shopping such a bliss for us (^0^) hopefully this itemized checklist helps to prepare for the arrival of our lil' one and not overspend doing it, hehe!! farah.. tolong berdisiplin ketika membeli belah okeh! huhu...

BABY CLOTHING:
bodysuits, sleeping suits, swaddle, caps/bonnets (mesti ke?hmm..), booties, socks & mittens

BABY BEDDING (an eye for IKEA stuffs, i loike!):
cot with mattress, cot bumper, cot sheet, mattress protector

BABY BATHING:
baby bath tub, baby shampoo, baby towels

BABY TRAVEL:
stroller (sangat suka SCR6, sweetcherry!), jump sac baby looks interesting too!!!

BABY NECESSITIES:
diapers, baby wipes, diaper bag, baby nail clippers, soft brush, thermometer

BABY FEEDING:
breast pump (after baca blog zazi's friend, bende ni sangat perlu okeh), storage bottles, bottle brush, nursing pad

FOR ME:
nursing bras, nursing wear, nipple cream, post-partum support garment (ntahape ibu suruh pakai nanti, biasa la petua2 ni is a MUST untuk kebaikan, btul?)


so there, banyak tak? i think these things are basically what we really need kan. yang the rest tu kire after baby dah lahir pun sempat beli kot :)

How fast time flies.....

in my pregnancy journal says, today is a very significant day: my baby's lungs are now capable of breathing air. by the end of this week, my baby will grow about 1/2 inch longer-that much more prepared for life outside my womb. baby's goal weight is at least 1kg or about 2 pounds. for me, now that my baby can breathe air, i can breathe a sigh of relief! with sufficient air sacs and surfactant, my baby will have a much easier time breathing by itself and adapting to the outside world.

yesterday, i went for check up alone without zazi =( as usual, anemia won't just leave me alone! urrghh.. penat dah makan kerang n hati. anyway, starting yesterday, i have to do check up once in two weeks. bayangkan amik darah 2 minggu skali!!!! eerrkkkk!!!! dugaan dugaan. but the best part is i could hear my baby's heartbeat! the nurse showed me that his/her heart rates 150 bpm (normal: 110~160). woaaahh.. aktif baby mummy neh! i read this article regarding fetal heart rate for gender prediction. it says, "as the old wives' tale has it, if your unborn baby's heart rate is higher, above 140 beats per minute, that means you're carrying a girl. A lower heart rate below 140 bpm means you're having a boy". hmmm btul ke? i guess we just have to wait and see.. zazi n i decided tak nak tau gender of the baby. surprise kunun la (^.^) ohh honey! bile kite nak shopping barang baby? oooohhh can't wait! last few weeks we bought sumthin for our lil' precious. kiut bangat kan! huhu....

Few months have passed so quickly...

Wow!! It's been a while kan since my last post, fuhh...! So many things to catch up. Hmm, where to start. Let see.....

1. Still doing check up in Seremban.

2. It feels good to be loved by everybody! Hehe....

3. 1st tri sangat menyeksakan, but it's worth it (^.^)

2. No more morning sickness, yeay!!!

3. Guess what, me, anemia since November! Darn!

4. I've put on weight, sangat seronok! 54kg at the moment.

5. Can feel my lil' one playing inside my tummy!! Double yeay!!!

6. I always craving for something sweet.

7. I kinda like my body now, very womanly.

8. Get tired and sleepy easily.

9. Sakit pinggang.. Mummy help!

10. No more Medical Leave, percaya tak?!

11. Lapar all the time.

12. Bought my first maternity wear on the 4th of December 2009 at MotherClub, Mid Valley with my girlfriends, Ija and Shida.. Heart u girls!!

13. I've to swallow 10 pills (iron, b-complex, calcium, ascorbic acid) a day!

14. Lost my beloved grandpa on the 15th of December 2009, misses him dearly.

15. During my birthday, 25th of Oct 2009, Zazi gave me a Pregnancy Journal, books about pregnancy and cute tiny sock for my baby as a present!!!! Love you honey!!! *terharu*

16. I become one of Pa&Ma fans now (",)

17. Believe it or not but I could NOT log in the Facebook during my 1st tri. I will likely feel dizzy then puke!! Weird? Yeah.. tell me about it!

18. Hard to get good sleep nowadays.

19. I can openly talk to ibu and my mom-in-law about motherhood *sebelum ni agak malu skit.. ngee hee*

20. Choc Oat Krunch is a MUST HAVE in my handbag.

21. Oh, I am now 6 months+ pregnant!!! Super duper excited!!
